The cutest wedding with the most FUN group of folks! And somehow the perfect weather for an outdoor cocktail hour - in November. From matching tuxes and doc loafers, the adorable ceremony with live music (from one of the marriers!), to a flower crown for the pup, I had the best time coordinating & being a part of Becca + Nina's wedding. Thanks for letting me end the night in the middle of the dance circle scream singing Pink Pony Club, it's where I belong ;)

Do you want to DIY your wedding arch?

If you want to make your own arch for your big day, that is totally fine. But you MUST ask yourself some questions! It can get complicated fast.

If you want to make your own arch for your big day, that is totally fine. But you MUST ask yourself some questions!

Do you have to build it before the day? If not, how long does it take? Add half an hour to any estimare you come up with.
Who has the vehicle space to haul a completed arch?
How much stuff do you need to build it? Zip ties, pool noodles, fake flowers?
Can you bring it to the venue beforehand?
Who is going to set it up?
Does it need to be taken down after the ceremony? Who will have the time and do that?
Who is going to move it if you want it at the reception?
Can you preserve whatever is attached or will it be ruined when taken apart?
How do you keep it nice so it can be reused?
Who is taking it down at the end of the night? Who is hauling it away?

This is the kind of thing that seems easy and will save money, but you HAVE to think through all the logistics so that you don’t stress yourself out.

And if you hire a coordinator, make sure they will build arches!

Congratulations Lizzie and Bradyl! It was such a treat to celebrate with this sweet couple on a beautiful fall day at the Greenhouse Loftl This wedding had it all - gorgeous decor (most of it created by the bride and her mother!), a touching ceremony and an unforgettable day filled with lots and lots of love. We are so happy for Lizzie and Brady and wish them a lifetime of happiness.

Do you need to pay for your wedding party’s hair and makeup?

It’s not a definitive answer, but if you are requiring your people to get their hair and makeup done, our answer is yes.

Your folks are already spending hundreds or even thousands to be a part of your beautiful day. Feel free to offer the option of styling, and exactly how much it will cost. Try not to require it. They will be beautiful just as they always are! And if you are going to require it, our opinion is that you should definitely pay.

Katie and Matthew’s celebration was truly unforgettable. Their ceremony took place in the historic Mayfair Theater, where the timeless decor and incredible acoustics created the perfect setting for their harpist and heartfelt vows. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the 2nd floor, surrounded by fascinating artifacts and unique decor that sparked conversation and added to the venue’s charm. The evening continued in the elegant Erin Room, where Katie and Matthew danced the night away with their family and friends. It was a beautiful celebration filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.
