This wedding was a lot of fun to put together! Francie and Mike are movie buffs, so they got married in an old theater and their table numbers were actually posters of their favorite old movies. They offered hot sauce as their guest favors, Francie's brother showed up in a bear costume (an old family wedding joke?) and we hung up dozens dazzling lights in a sheet behind their sweetheart table which added so much romance to the guest's view. It was about as eclectic as our events get, and we loved every minute of it!

Remember Alli, of Alli & Woz? We planned her amazing wedding in October of 2013, and now it turns out she's kind of a big deal over at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She asked us to come on board for a huge event that she put together for 600+ of her fellow students, the Northwestern Manager's Ball, which not only celebrated their achievements as a class, but also honored the Big Shoulders charity for which they've been raising money. The event was 1920's themed, and Ingrid Bonne Photography captured all of the magic in Union Station's Great Hall.

The beautiful Joanna and her sweet, hilarious husband Brant were wed way back in 2011, and we are still loving these beautiful photographs. What an absolutely beautiful day.

Jane was the kind of bride who had her own unique, non-traditional ideas of how her wedding would be, and we loved that about her. She and Tony had been together for over a decade, and she would always walk by a beautiful gazebo in Welles Park, near where they lived, and tell him that she wanted to be married there...

She thought he was never paying attention. When he finally proposed, he said, "so we'll get married in the gazebo, right?" Jane asked us to decorate the amazing structure, and it was an absolutely beautiful day to be married in front of their family and friends. A simple reception at Caro Mio restaurant represented Tony's Italian heritage - they even had an enormous cannoli, full of smaller cannolis, delivered to the restaurant for dessert. These are our favorite kind of events, and we loved working with Jane & Tony!
