These. Two. Mr. and Dr. Alex and Susan are two of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. Both brilliant, both so good natured, and so in love with each other. It was such a joy to finally watch them say their vows in front of the beautiful arch by Bou K. These self-proclaimed nerds are perfect for each other. The beautiful ceremony was followed by the sweetest toasts from their parents and friends, and then that dance floor was PACKED from the first song to the very last.

Congratulations to these two wonderful people! We know your life together will be absolutely wonderful!

AELO Alumni | Terian + Nate, 10/3/21

What a JOY to finally get these two down the aisle! We had so. much. fun. planning with Terian and Nate for what turned out to be a lot longer than any of us expected! Originally set for June 2020… then October 2020… and finally for October 2021, their wedding was a computer nerd’s DREAM. Those moody fall colors, twinkle lights, karaoke, the cake! Terian’s DRESS! Everything from the VCR gift card box to the floppy disc escort cards to the kitty cake toppers, was perfectly them, and we are so happy we got to be a part of it. Terian and Nate are two truly wonderful people, who took COVID planning in stride and were so understanding and lovely as we all navigated these strange times. We wish them all the best in whatever the future brings.

AELO Alumni | Kathryn + Pat, 8/21/21

Kathryn and Pat got married at The City Hall on a hot, but beautiful Chicago summer day. They had it all: a gorgeous space, romantic details, delectable food, great music, and not one but two surprise lifesize family photos. To acknowledge her parents' wedding anniversary, Kathryn and her siblings ordered a replica anniversary cake and two lifesize cutouts of their parents that they brought out after the bride and groom cut their own wedding cake. Unbeknownst to K+P, the father of the bride reached out to us to help facilitate a surprise of his own--a giant poster of Kathryn from her softball days as a teenager to be rolled out as part of his speech! Great minds think alike :)

We loved working with Kathryn and Pat and wish them a lifetime of happiness!

What a true joy it was to finally get Nick + Jesse down the aisle! After a long year of moving their wedding twice, they had a beautiful afternoon wedding at City View Loft. They are so. in. love. From the sweetest vows, to a surprise hora, these two were all smiles all day. They showed so much grace, kindness, and empathy to everyone through the whole process. Two of the most wonderful men you’ll ever meet. We know that their life will be filled with joy!

What a lovely couple! City View Loft was the perfect venue for Elizabeth at Matt to finally host their special day and we were so happy to be a part of it! Atmosphere Event Group's elegant cream roses, green garlands and gold accents added the perfect touches for the ceremony. After a delicious dinner by L & M Catering, Monastero Entertainment got everyone on their feet for a nonstop dance party

Elizabeth and Matt are so sweet and SO in love. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
